To whom it may concern:

We, the Arena Players Theatre, have invited Mr. Omar Sangare to play the title role of Othello in our modernized version of Shakespeare's classic tragedy. We had a great deal of difficulty trying to find an American actor strong enough in talent and sensitivity to portray
this role. Finally, we auditioned Mr. Sangare and found him to be
very proficient in his ability to assay this role.

Othello will be part of our Shakespearean Festival, which plays at
the Vanderbilt Museum Mansion in Centerport. He will be required to rehearse and appear in the production from now until September 1, 2002. We have found Mr. Sangare to be a uniquely gifted artist and hope that this production will enhance his skill and reputation here in America.
