To Whom It May Concern:

On behalf of the Ministry of Culture, let us introduce Mr. Omar Sangare, one of the most significant artists in Poland.

He graduated from the Theatre Academy in Warsaw, and has proved his talent through many theatre, television, and movie productions. Every year he is invited by the President of Poland to join the Meeting for the Leading Artists.

Mr. Sangare has an impressive list of achievements. Allow me to briefly mention a few of his successes. For his one-man drama, “True Theater Critic,” he was prized Best in Acting by the New York International Fringe Festival in 1997. That same year, he received four prizes at the theatre festival in Wroclaw, Poland. We were proud to see him perform in England, Ukraine, Hungary, and Germany as well. In 1999, he wrote and directed the play, “Juliet,” which was performed at The Red Room Theater of Manhattan in New York City. In 2001 he wrote, produced, and performed in “Black room,” a comedy presented by the Polish Television POLSAT. He has published three books, and taught at the Theatre Academy in Warsaw. In 2002 he was acclaimed by the New York press for his lead part in the Arena Players Repertory Theater production of “Othello.”

Mr. Sangare is ambitious, effective, and responsible artist, who reveals important human values through his work. He has also been involved in many charities for children and the disabled. We highly appreciate his generosity in using his public recognition to support others.

It is an honor to give our warm recommendation for an artist such as Omar Sangare.

Best regards,
