Loneliness

Loneliness had many friends Never felt lonely always in company of others Sometimes alone face to face with a teenager who got dumped by a boy friend sometimes with vice minister who worked for espionage Sometimes with a fifty year old brunet who carried home a brown paper bag with loaf of wonder bread and gallon of milk Sometimes loneliness accompanied the bishop who was afraid of finding the true dimension of justice its real measurements Concerned he used to hide himself between the arms of a chair and balnce his account of conscience Sometimes loneliness visited the dentist who had a tooth ache on the upper left side or somewhere else less painful Sometimes loneliness spend hours with the hunter who was sitting behind a bush looking like he is doing you know what That was the loneliness who was coming to people in difficult moments Although some people were avoiding loneliness’ company on purpose they were never alone because even in seclusion loneliness never left them alone Some closed themselves in public restroom’s stall but even then they were crowded with loneliness who honestly speaking would like to avoid similar encounters But loneliness was loyal and liked to accompany them in all their needs Often in bigger crowds Waiting together with sick ones in dead line at drugstores or traveling coach class on a train to Arkansa or playing ball with some team or dancing just like that for fun at some night club till the white dawn In a company of so many people yet always alone with each of them Many complained about loneliness What kind of life is that Only loneliness Said the lady from second floor but loneliness didn’t mind it and was patiently waiting next to her on the sofa bed Loneliness hugged the lonely lady patted her on the head and whispered in her ear As long as we are together nobody can hurt you.
